INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY OF KOKSOWNIA CZĘSTOCHOWA NOWA SP. Z O.O.

Koksownia Częstochowa Nowa Sp. z o.o. (KCN) produces coke and carbon-based products. It enjoys the trust of customers and has an established market position.

As part of its operations, KCN fulfills legal and other requirements concerning quality, energy management, environmental protection and occupational health and safety applicable to manufactured products, environmental aspects and existing hazards to the life and health of employees.

KCN's policy is an integral element of the enterprise management and it sets the basis for the operation of the Integrated Management System.

The Management Board and all KCN employees strive to:

• continuous improvement and guarantee of quality of manufactured products,
• reduce emissions and prevent environmental pollution,
• constant improvement of occupational health and safety and prevention of accidents at work, occupational diseases and near-accident events, minimizing occupational health and safety risks while cooperating with the employee representative,
• reduce energy consumption to improve energy efficiency.

The company will implement specific strategic goals by analyzing risks and opportunities by introducing effective solutions in the field of coke and carbon-based products production technology, energy management system, work organization, environmental protection and occupational health and safety, as well as by improving employee qualifications, taking into account employee requirements.

The guarantee of achieving the planned goals is the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Integrated KCN Management System that meets the requirements of the following standards:

• PN – EN ISO 9001: 2015-10
• PN – EN ISO 14001: 2015-09
• PN – ISO 45001:2018-06
• PN – EN ISO 50001:2018-09

The Management Board of KCN provides the resources needed to implement this policy and obliges all employees to engage and participate in improving the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System.
